Wayne County Children's S.T.E.A.M Playlab

Wayne County Children’s S.T.E.A.M. Playlab just hosted their 3rd Annual Christmas GALA + Auction, and here’s what they shared after the night:

 

They said they’re beyond grateful for every single person who showed up, supported, gave them grace through the night, and helped make the evening feel truly magical.

 

They thanked every sponsor, in-kind donor, live and silent auction donor, volunteer, board member, and SMOKE Catering for helping make it an incredible event.

 

They also gave a special thank you to their keynote speaker and friend, Dan Owolabi, for bringing the night together with encouraging words and wisdom.

And the impact? Over $42,000 raised so far.

What a blessing of a night.

Ashley Kistler has been named the new provost at The College of Wooster, after serving as dean at Rollins College.

Kistler brings a wealth of experience in higher education leadership and is excited to join the staff at Wooster.

She is known for her commitment to student-centered learning and community engagement.

Kistler's background in communication and media studies will also be an asset to the college.

Overall, her appointment as provost is seen as a positive step forward for The College of Wooster.
